Description
Focuses on advanced writing/reporting skills that students can apply directly to any area of journalism. The area of study may include investigative reporting, data-driven journalism, and specialized reporting skills such as sports news writing and business news writing. This course also includes analyzing and evaluating journalism texts. This course is an elective for students majoring in Mass Communications. May be offered in traditional and distance education formats. Prerequisites: MASSCOMM.340. Three hours of lecture/lab per week.
