Description
FRESHWATER BIOLOGY
Surveys organisms inhabiting freshwater lakes, ponds and streams and an introduction to the chemical and physical factors that control their abundance and distribution. There are lecture, laboratory and field components to this course. Elective for certain biology majors. Prerequisite: BIOLOGY 115 (Concepts in Biology 2). Two hours of lecture, 3 hours of laboratory/field per week. Not offered every semester.
