Description
CAREER ORIENTATION
Provides an overview of modern manufacturing processes and technology with an emphasis on electronics manufacturing. Topics include fundamentals of materials and their properties; metal casting, forming, shaping, and jointing processes; quality assurance and testing; robotics, manufacturing automation, and computer-integrated manufacturing; and printed-circuit board design, manufacturing, and testing. Two hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory per week.
