INTRODUCTION TO HEALTH ECONOMICS
Introduces students to basic principles of economics and its application to health care policy issues. This course will provide registered nurses the foundational knowledge of economics to help them better understand the policies that shape health reform and the implications for patients, nurses, practitioners, and health care. The course is typically offered once a year. May be offered in traditional and distance education formats. Prerequisites: None.
