Description
ECOLOGY OF STREAMS AND RIVERS
Examines recent advances in stream and river ecology. Topics include hydrogeomorpohology, connections between terrestrial and aquatic components of watersheds, trophic dynamics, biogeochemistry, disturbance, conservation and management. The target audience is upper-level environmental biology and general biology majors. Prerequisites: BIOLOGY 253 or BIOLOGY 351. Not offered every semester.
